Long Bay Beach offers kiteboarding enthusiasts the luxury of playing in shallow, calm water. Since you should never kite out further than you can swim in, Long Bay, even high tide, provides the perfect depth water for safely learning and honing your craft.
The trade winds that sweep across Long Bay are remarkably steady. This rare and special gift of consistent air movement makes Turks and Caicos an exceptional location for taking lessons as well as for pushing your limits in comfort in this world class kite destination.
We designed your lesson plan to take the stress out of reaching your goals. Your lesson begins on the whites sands using a small kite designed for getting a feel for control and steering. When you’re ready, we introduce skills for safe set up and launch of the kite you will use for the rest of the session. This kite is carefully selected for you based on the wind speed for the day and your size. You will move to the warm shallow ocean playground guided by your instructor at your side where the time flies by as you refine your kite flying abilities and perhaps jump onto the board for your first taste of moving across the water.
Dreams do come true.
Our team of professionals will guide you down wind along the length of the island with a group of your favorite kiters including the comfort of boat support while you make your dreams come true. If your dreams don't scare you a little bit, you're not dreaming big enough. Come play with us.
