If not you, then who?

This is a question that everyone should ask themselves periodically. If you don’t write the book, then who will? If you don’t help the homeless, then who will? Whatever it is that needs to be done; if you don’t do it, then who will?

You need to do it. You have a unique perspective and your voice must be the one to be heard. No one else can add your color to the world’s palette.

During my lifetime, people who I should have been able to trust have tried to strip me of my confidence. Many have succeeded. Some more than once. But, I always bounce back, better than ever — wiser and stronger. I don’t want this conversation we are having to be entirely about me. I want it to be about me… motivating you!

I bounce back because there are wonderful, generous people in my life also. Sometimes they are there for a small period of time, sometimes at a distance, and some linger quietly in the background. But, their existence saves me. Now, it is my turn to pay it all forward. All the kindness, all the love, all the support, must be thrown back out into the world where it will grow. 

With this little website, this small corner where my voice can be heard, I would like to tell you things like; you can to it! With your unique perspective, you can do great things. If you don’t, who will? No one else can do it. Their story and perspective is different from yours.

Over time, I will share some of the things I think about with blog posts. Please watch for them and let me know what you think. I would love to know who's listening out there and if something I’ve said was helpful to you. 

Meanwhile, I hope you fall in love with the characters I have created in my book. I hope their story, the reality of drug cultures across the world, helps you to find a way to make the world a better place. Every voice matters. 

I read somewhere that while you can’t change the beginning of your story, you can certainly write the end. Think about it! If not you, then who?
